Free Drink Friday: POOL PARTY

Join us this Friday July 8th from 12pm-4pm for another Free Drink Friday. This time were taking things up a notch!

The Leebrick's have graciously opened their home, pool and their kitchen up to us! So were having a pool party AND a cookout for this edition of Free Drink Friday!

So bring your towel and your appetite and we'll see you at church this Friday. You'll need a permission slip, so CLICK HERE to download one.

Free Drink Friday is back this week from 12pm-2pm for all those who are still in town for July 4th weekend!

The weather should be nice and cool so we'll hit up some ultimate Frisbee and enjoy lots of Gatorade!

Don't slack on Sunday School during the Summer! Instead, join us for our new Sunday Morning Series: The Ultimate Rebel

Starting this Sunday June 26th @ 9:45am.

We'll discover the most incredible Rebel in history, and then examine how a rebel behaves and what he or she changes.

Just a reminder that all students are invited to join us for our first FREE DRINK FRIDAY of the Summer (today June 24th).

We are doing water games today (unless the Lord decides to bring us some of his own water games [rain], then we'll head inside for some games). Either way it will be a great time!

Summer Schedule

Now that the school year is over, we are ready to start our summer schedule.

Be sure to join us Monday's for Strength & Scriptures. Strength and Scriptures is a workout for your body and your soul. Each week we'll workout and learn how to honor God with our temple and then we'll dig into God's word together.

Then join us on Friday's for Free drink Friday. We'll do a fun activity together (water games, Frisbee, etc...) and then enjoy some free drinks (the snacks are up to you).

Father's Day

Just a reminder that THIS Sunday is Father's Day.

During out church service we will be showing all those Dad's some love by giving them a small gift. We'll need several teens to help volunteer to pass these out during the worship service.

Also, don't forget to show your Dad (or other male role model in your life) some love this weekend.

Lastly, make sure you give thanks to your Heavenly Dad for his unfailing love to you!!

Missions Fundraiser

Don't forget our missions fundraiser ends next Wednesday (6/22).

This fundraiser is different from others since the Avon products will be donated to local community service agencies (Union Mission, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Seton Youth Shelters). The remaining proceeds will also benefit our Mission trip this July to help Tornado Victims in Gloucester.

I know it's summer, but get out there and work hard these last few days to get some of these sold.

FISH The Planet

Just a reminder about our new Wednesday Night Series: F.I.S.H. The planet. There are a variety of different nights planned by you guys.
Here is a break down of the different nights:

1. FOCUS Mtg - accountability, growth, prayer. Students are in small groups and will be challenging each other to read and memorize the scriptures weekly.


2. INSPIRE Mtg - Guest Speaker comes in to inspire our group to reach out and make a difference in the community.

3. SHARE Mtg - Student Testimonies. Students will share their testimony of how God saved them or of what God has been doing in their lives recently.

4. HOOK Mtg – Hook night is our party and invite a friend night. We’ll have food and a great time, a short Gospel message and then a time for decisions.

Mr. Freehill

Just wanted to ask you guys to keep Mr. Freehill in prayer today and this week.

His wife, Mrs. Gerri went home to be with the Lord this week. Funeral is today at 2pm.

We've all had a lot of great times with this couple over the years and I figured you guys would want to know.

Lock In Tonight

Don't forget our lock-in is tonight at 7pm. We will be serving dinner right at 7pm.

Cost is $20 for laser tag everything else is free.

Here are some of the pictures we were able to take while working in Gloucester, VA on Wednesday. We spent most of our time delivering lunches and water to those who had been affected by the Tornado.

You guys did an AMAZING JOB! Thanks for your flexibility and willingness to serve in any way.

We are planning to go back again this Friday so be sure to meet at the church at 8:30am sharp. . You will need a permission slip, so please see the previous post below.











Please continue to pray for all of the Tornado Victims there are still many without power and basic necessities.

Also we will take basic toiletries (Soap, shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes and toilet paper) and water with us on Friday to help hand out.
