Today is our first day in Gloucester, VA.
We had a great time meeting with churches here in Gloucester, and getting to know our friends from Kempsville Baptist as well.
The pastor from Bridge Point preached last night on Colossians 4:2-6. So we are praying and being watchful for opportunities through out the week to share the message of Christ as we are working.
We had breakfast at 6:30am and headed out to our work sites around 7:15pm.
We have about 7 different teams working through out the community. Please pray for all of our teams today.
Here's a list of where are teams are working:
1. Demo on a porch
2. Log splitting team for an elderly couple with no heat.
3. Team putting up a new fence.
4. Team putting in new floors into a house.
5. Team power washing some of the disaster relief trailers and equipment and fixing a play ground.
6. Team deep cleaning the theater (for free) where Bridge Point Church meets.
7. Team cleaning up a neighborhood and planting flowers.
